The standard insulation used on crimp terminals, Vinyl, provides good dielectric strength and can be used in most applications.
Nylon
A premium quality insulator, Nylon, is resistant to hydrocarbons - gasoline, hydraulic fluids and oils and has good dielectric strength. Unlike Vinyl, Nylon does not out-gas, a critical factor in Aerospace applications.
